Barefoot Painter LLC is looking for someone who wants more than just a job; we're looking for someone who wants to build a career.
Prior painting experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has an outstanding work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn.
Minimum Qualifications
✔ Must be 18 years of age or older
✔ High school diploma or GED required
What We're Looking For
✔ Ability to regularly lift 75+ pounds
✔ Comfortable working at heights of 40+ feet on a regular basis
✔ Self-motivated and dependable
✔ Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
✔ Excellent customer service and communication skills—our crews interact with homeowners and business owners every day, and professionalism is a must.
✔ Team player with a proven history of working well with others
✔ Willing to occasionally assist our cleaning division when needed
✔ Available to work Monday–Thursday (10-hour days) with occasional weekends during our busiest season
What We're NOT Looking For
❌ Frequent job hoppers or applicants with poor work history
❌ Unreliable attendance or lack of dependability
❌ Individuals with a history of workplace conflict or difficulty working as part of a team
We're looking for someone who wants a long-term career, not just a temporary job. Because we invest significant time and resources into training, we're seeking applicants with a strong employment history who intend to stay and grow with our company.
Pay & Benefits
Starting wage: $16.00/hour
✔ Higher starting wages may be negotiated for applicants with previous professional painting experience.
✔ Employees who successfully complete our training program and demonstrate the skills, work ethic, reliability, and craftsmanship we expect have the opportunity to earn up to $18.00/hour by the end of their first year.
