Behavioral Health Examiner – Westminster, Colorado

Overview

This Behavioral Health Examiner – Westminster, Colorado opportunity offers structured part-time coverage in a clinic-based setting. The clinic is seeking a provider for two in-person days each week, specifically Tuesdays and Fridays.

The role focuses on behavioral health evaluations for adult Veterans. There is no therapy panel, no medication management, and no ongoing treatment responsibilities. The work is structured, documentation-driven, and supported by a consistent clinic workflow.

This position is ideal for a psychologist seeking a predictable part-time schedule with dedicated face-to-face patient interaction and clearly defined responsibilities.

Position Details

Location: Westminster, Colorado 80031
Facility Type: VA disability exam clinic
Schedule: Part-time … Tuesdays and Fridays
Clinic Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Employment Type: Part-time
Work Setting: Face-to-face evaluations
Travel: No travel required
Patient Population: Adult Veterans

Responsibilities

Review service treatment records and relevant medical history
Conduct in-person behavioral health evaluations
Administer and interpret psychological assessments as required
Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
Provide medical opinions when requested
Document findings in a secure electronic system
Submit completed evaluations within required timelines

Qualifications

Required:

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
Graduate of an APA-accredited doctoral program
Completion of an APA-accredited internship
Active, unrestricted state license required (any U.S. state license accepted under contract guidelines)
Ability to work independently and meet documentation deadlines

Preferred:

Prior VA or C&P examination experience
