Full Job Description

Starting pay will rely heavily on previous knowledge and will gradually increase as we learn how well job tasks are completed on a timely and accurate basis.

Overview

Our small accounting office is looking for a long term employee that wants to grow within the company with on the job training to become a Senior accountant.

Duties

Monthly Bookkeeping & bank reconciliations for multiple clients
Assisting with data entry for business and personal tax returns
Running payroll for multiple companies weekly
Assisting with anything else needed from accountants

Qualifications:

Must be graduated or close to graduation date.
Must have majored in ACCOUNTING and completed most advanced accounting classes. Job duties will require information learned in these classes.
Able to work 30-40hours weekly. Possibly more during tax season
Works well with little instruction (shown once or twice and can learn by looking at previous work completed)
Able to multi task and keep track of work given.
Ideal candidate will be local to the area. Not interested in relocation applicants at this time.
Must be familiar with working in Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks online & desktop, Zoho, etc)

Pay: $25,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
