Full Job Description

SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Executive Director the Human Resource Clerk will collaborate with senior leadership to understand and implement the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruitment, and retention and ongoing personnel file management.

The HR Clerk will be responsible for management of the company Indeed site, review and forwarding of qualified candidate resumes, scheduling and management of interviews, conducting background checks and drug screens.

Works closely with the Executive Director and the Executive Team on job fairs, company events and community outings.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.

Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to performance reviews, employee recognition, and management of required updated employee documents.

Perform both Office of the Inspector General and LDH monthly checks for all staff.

Ability to provide any required staff training both locally and in satellite offices if needed. Please note that travel is required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess superior computer skills with mastery of Microsoft products, Canva, social media platforms, etc. Must have the ability to conduct engaging and professional presentations.

Ability to professionally and enthusiastically represent the Agency and its interests in the office and the community when needed.

Communication must be quick and concise about all matters that may pose a personnel, operations or other liability that comes to their attention to the Executive Director.

Verify all requests for TESPA payments before presenting to the accounting department for payment.

Maintain filing for both the Accounting & HR departments.

Assist accounting department with preparation for external annual audits.

Candidate will need to possess high ethical and confidential standards.

Participate in the rotation for Onsite Project Managers.

Performs other duties as required.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
