Quality Assurance Manager

Direct Hire | Full-Time | First Shift

Lead Quality. Drive Continuous Improvement. Make an Impact.

Are you an experienced Quality professional who thrives on improving systems, leading teams, and driving operational excellence? We're seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and continuously improve a comprehensive Quality Management System within a growing manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys collaborating across departments, solving complex problems, and ensuring products consistently meet customer and industry standards.

What You'll Do

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will:

Lead and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS)
Drive quality initiatives and continuous improvement throughout the organization
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and applicable industry regulations
Develop and maintain quality procedures, documentation, and reporting
Analyze quality metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to improve product quality
Manage supplier quality expectations and customer requirements
Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives
Oversee new product quality planning (APQP)
Serve as the primary contact during customer and third-party audits
Supervise and develop Quality team members
Champion Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement projects, including 5S initiatives

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of Quality Assurance experience within manufacturing
Experience managing an ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Strong understanding of quality tools, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent analytical, organizational, and technical writing skills
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Experience presenting findings to customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent certification
APQP experience
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience
