Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and testing of integrated electronic security systems, including intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systems. This position involves working both independently and collaboratively on-site to support installation efforts, conduct surveys, and deliver high-quality service to our clients.
This position is open to applicants residing in Guam and Saipan. Relocation assistance is not available.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and other G4S systems at customer locations
- Set up and troubleshoot head-end computer systems, including wiring, termination, and calibration of sensors and field devices
- Install communication infrastructure, including conduit, enclosures, and fiber optic cables
- Assist Systems Engineers in developing and executing detailed installation plans
- Conduct site surveys for both prospective and current customers to determine system requirements
- Support cost estimation and procurement of materials and equipment for installations
- Complete project documentation including job status reports, service tickets, travel expense reports, safety logs, and as-built drawings
- Participate in government-witnessed system testing alongside Project Superintendents and System Engineers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics, electrical systems, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in the installation and configuration of electronic security systems
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection
- Experience with cable installation, fiber optics, and infrastructure components (conduit, enclosures, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency in completing job documentation and using reporting tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to obtain necessary security clearances as required by government contracts
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Able to lift 50lbs and climb ladders
- Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites
