Full Job Description

Beach Kids Therapy Center is now providing ABA services! We are looking for BCBA's to provide ABA services in both San Clemente and Laguna Hills clinic locations.

Have you ever wanted to work as an ABA provider who participated hand-in-hand with the child's entire team of therapists?

Our ABA department will be just as much a part of our inter-disciplinary process as all of our other phenomenal services of OT, PT, and Speech!

Clinic-based ABA sessions will take place right along side therapists of all disciplines in our family-centered environment.

We will also be introducing Social Skills Groups for all ages!

We will concentrate our ABA services using the Floortime/DIR model, pivotal response training, naturalistic interventions, and sensory integration approaches. All of the BCBA's and RBT's at Beach Kids will receive specialized training in sensory integration, behavior, and multi-disciplinary interventions.

All disciplines will work as a TEAM to write the intervention plans, and as a TEAM we will all work together to implement and integrate strategies that will help the child grow and develop to their highest potential.

Work hours are flexible and may be scheduled between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm. No weekends unless you request them!

Beach Kids Therapy Center provides approximately 60% of authorized hours in clinic and 40% in the community or family home.

What will you do?

Complete Assessment and Treatment plans following Beach Kids Therapy Center's model, BCBA and insurance guidelines
Provide direct clinical and supervisory support to therapy clients and RBT's on the BCBA Clinical Supervisors team
Ensure quality clinical care, meet all minimum supervisory and parent training hours, maintaining 32 hours a week of billed clinical time, converting session notes at time of session
Provide support to the on-boarding of new team members as noted in the new RBT schedule to ensure quality training

Provide monthly supervision to all RBT's on their team, completing paperwork and at least 5% of hours in 1:1 and/or group supervision experiences
Monitor and update programming aspects of each client's clinical case, and updates the whole team using current technology (Microsoft Office, Catalyst)
Provide supervision and support, organize and analyze data in support of progress report writing
Participates in site management meeting and staff meetings

Serves as a representative of the Beach Kids ABA program, demonstrating professionalism with all families and colleagues in written and spoken communication as well as professional dress and demeanor
Teammates are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds

What's required?

Master's degree in a Human Services or related field is required
Must hold current BCBA certification
Must have a working knowledge of ABA practice and experience working with children diagnosed with Autism. Excellent clinical skills
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information
Basic understanding of and ability to use basic software and systems including, but not limited to, electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products; daily use of laptop and/or tablet for email, note taking, and other tasks required
