Full Job Description

JOIN OUR TEAM
Locally-owned engineering consulting firm based in Wailuku, Maui. For over 30 years, we have been proud to contribute to Maui's growth and sustainability through innovative and reliable engineering solutions. We are looking for a committed individual interested in a part time role with flexible hours that could lead to a full time position.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a role with significant bookkeeping responsibilities is required.
High proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) is required.
Computer skills including ability to maneuver between multiple programs
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel
Attention to detail and a willingness to learn

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).
Process client invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare and process payroll in collaboration with external payroll service.
Assist with General Excise Tax (GET) filings and year-end financial preparations for our CPA.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
