Qualifications for Position:
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Experience with ERP systems preferred.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Create, issue, and update purchase orders within the ERP system.
- Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with vendors regarding delivery status.
- Confirm vendor acknowledgements, pricing, quantities, and delivery dates.
- Coordinate inbound deliveries with Receiving and Operations.
- Process direct shipments and communicate delivery updates.
- Maintain organized purchasing records and vendor documentation.
- Assist with invoice reconciliation and purchasing documentation.
- Communicate shortages, delays, substitutions, and vendor updates to the Purchasing Manager.
- Generate purchasing reports and maintain purchasing data accuracy.
- Support inventory replenishment activities and perform other duties as assigned
- Southeast US plant identification is highly preferred
- Familiar with Florida grades / standards for determining quality of trees and shrubs is highly desired
