Riggs College – Now Hiring: Nursing Academic Manager /Clinical Coordinator

Position Summary:
Riggs College invites applications from experienced and non experienced to serve as Nursing Academic Manager /.Clinical Coordinator. This role functions as a first-line administrator under the direction of the Nursing Dean. The Nursing Academic Manager will lead academic planning, curriculum oversight, faculty development, and program compliance to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing education aligned with institutional goals and national standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development and Oversight:
- Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of nursing curricula.
- Ensure curriculum aligns with current practice standards, educational technology, and accreditation requirements.
- Supervise course design, updates, and integration of evidence-based practices.
Faculty Leadership & Support:
- Assist in recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating nursing faculty.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented academic environment.
- Coordinate faculty development and promote teaching excellence.
Leadership & Strategic Vision:
- Provide strategic input to strengthen nursing academic programs.
- Collaborate closely with the Dean of Nursing on long-term goals and program initiatives.
- Facilitate communication among faculty, students, and administration.
Student Success:
- Monitor student academic performance and implement support measures.
- Oversee advising, academic interventions, and professional readiness for clinical practice.
Accreditation and Compliance:
- Maintain compliance with ACEN and relevant accrediting and licensing bodies.
- Assist in accreditation site visits and documentation preparation.
- Address any compliance or quality improvement issues.
Program Evaluation & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of program outcomes, including student learning and faculty performance.
- Partner with the Dean to implement data-driven strategies for academic excellence.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of Florida preferred).
- Significant experience in nursing education and academic leadership.
- Proven track record in curriculum development, faculty supervision, and accreditation compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
