What You Will Do
As a Professional Mover, you will work with a team to safely and efficiently complete residential and commercial moving projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing homes and businesses before moving begins
- Protecting floors, railings, doorways, walls, and other property
- Professionally wrapping and protecting furniture
- Safely lifting and carrying furniture, boxes, appliances, and other items
- Loading moving trucks securely and efficiently
- Unloading items into the correct rooms and locations
- Disassembling and reassembling furniture when needed
- Communicating clearly and respectfully with customers
- Following directions from crew leaders and managers
- Keeping trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Identifying potential damage risks before they become problems
- Helping teammates complete projects safely and efficiently
- Representing Minne Movers professionally at every customer’s property
This is a physical, customer-facing position. Some days will be long, hot, cold, busy, or challenging. High performers remain professional, productive, and positive regardless of the circumstances.

Previous moving experience is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
Applicants must be able to:
- Frequently lift and carry heavy furniture and boxes
- Repeatedly lift approximately 75 pounds with proper technique
- Work on their feet for extended periods
- Walk up and down stairs while carrying items
- Bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical movements
- Work indoors and outdoors in changing Minnesota weather conditions
- Safely complete physically demanding work throughout the day
Team members are expected to use proper lifting techniques and ask for assistance when an item requires additional people or equipment.
Schedule
- Position type: [Full-time/Part-time/Seasonal]
- Typical start time: 7:30am
- Monday through Saturday availability is preferred
- Start and finish times vary depending on the scheduled projects
- Employees must be prepared for the possibility of long days during busy periods
- Weekend availability may be required based on business needs
Moving does not always follow a predictable schedule. Applicants must understand that scheduled hours may vary depending on project size, travel, customer needs, and seasonal demand.
