ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

Location: Fullerton, CA - Onsite

Job Duties:

Our Estimators are a vital part of SASCO's success, delivering accurate and competitive estimates that drive profitability and growth. This role prepares cost estimates for commercial and industrial electrical construction projects while collaborating with project teams to ensure successful bids. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong electrical construction background and a commitment to SASCO's standard of excellence.

Preparation of complete labor and material estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, contractual requirements, and
Develop comprehensive bid proposals, budgets, and scope summaries while identifying project risks and opportunities.
Assist with project handoff to operations by providing estimating documentation, budgets, and scope details upon award.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and preconstruction teams to clarify project requirements and value engineering opportunities.

Preferred Job Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction or related fields is desirable but not essential
3-5 yrs as a lead electrical estimator.
5-10+ Yrs in the electrical construction industry
Experience with large (3 million +) electrical construction projects and/or estimates.
Depth of knowledge with a wide variety electrical materials and methods of installation.
Experience with: Accubid, Trimble, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of the N.E.C. and local codes.
Computer literate in common MS word and excel.
Understands fire alarm system wiring methods and layout on drawings.
Additional duties as determined by Chief Estimator
