Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning and custodial services, with a strong focus on hospitality and housekeeping management.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage laundry operations including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Follow established safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or assistance.
- Assist in floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services preferred.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping management practices within the hospitality industry.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
