Part-Time Recruiter

Join Our Team

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused Part-Time Recruiter (roughly 8 AM to 12 PM - there is some flexibility here) to support our hiring efforts across a growing organization. This position has the opportunity to turn into a full-time role if successful.

In this role, you'll recruit for a variety of positions, including CDL drivers, technicians, skilled trades, mechanics, office staff, and leadership roles. You'll partner closely with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience and help build a strong workforce.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer acceptance.
Create and post job advertisements on multiple recruiting platforms.
Source qualified candidates using job boards, resume databases, referrals, and networking.
Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews.
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Build relationships with trade schools, workforce agencies, and community organizations.
Attend occasional job fairs and recruiting events.
Maintain applicant tracking system records and recruiting metrics.
Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork.
Recommend recruiting strategies to improve hiring results.

Qualifications

Previous recruiting, staffing, HR, or talent acquisition experience preferred BUT we are open to training the right person provided that you have office experience.
Experience recruiting for construction, transportation, industrial, or skilled trade positions is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
