About Little Big Burger

Little Big Burger was founded in the heart of Portland with a simple mission — serve up fresh, high-quality burgers and fries with a side of local flavor. We believe in a positive, team-oriented culture that values integrity, hard work, and fun.

We’re excited to announce that we are reintroducing the General Manager role across our company as part of a renewed focus on leadership, accountability, and operational excellence. This position represents a key opportunity to shape the future of Little Big Burger, playing a hands-on role in redefining our standards, developing our people, and strengthening the guest experience at every level.

Position Summary

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall performance of the Lake Oswego store, including daily operations, financial results, staffing, and guest satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader who can develop people, control costs, and uphold the Little Big Burger brand standards in quality, service, and cleanliness.

As one of the first GMs in our reinstituted structure, you will have a direct voice in shaping operational best practices and helping drive the direction of our brand as we continue to grow and evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, train, and develop team members to deliver exceptional service.
Create a positive and inclusive work environment focused on teamwork and growth.
Maintain compliance with company policies, labor laws, and food safety standards.
Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations with a focus on efficiency and consistency.
Ensure all food and beverages meet company quality standards.
Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
Financial & Performance Goals
Analyze weekly and monthly P&L reports to drive performance and profitability.
Manage labor, food, and operating costs to achieve budgeted targets.
Execute local store marketing initiatives to grow sales.
Guest Experience
Deliver a friendly, engaging, and consistent guest experience every time.
Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

2+ years of restaurant management experience (multi-unit or high-volume preferred).
Proven leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, scheduling, and cost management.
ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
Passion for hospitality and the Portland food scene.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Frequent bending, reaching, and walking in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift or carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
Regular use of hands and arms in handling kitchen tools, products, and supplies.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $55,000–$65,000 depending on experience.
