Location: Nationwide Positions Available
Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Compensation: Commission-Based | Performance-Driven Earning Opportunity
Are You a Sales Professional Who Knows How to Create Business?
SunSipper Tiny Living & Storage is looking for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated Lot / Sales Manager to take ownership of sales growth and customer development at an assigned SunSipper location.
This is not a traditional position where you sit at a lot and wait for customers to walk in.
Your job is to help grow the business.
You will be responsible for generating customer opportunities, following up with leads, building relationships in the community, selling our Tiny Living & Storage products, and identifying additional construction opportunities throughout your market.
If you're someone who enjoys sales, knows how to build relationships, is comfortable prospecting and asking for the sale, and wants the ability to directly influence your income through your own production, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
As a SunSipper Tiny Living & Storage Lot / Sales Manager, you will:
- Generate and develop new customer opportunities.
- Respond to and follow up with company-generated and self-generated leads.
- Sell SunSipper Tiny Living & Storage products and solutions.
- Help customers identify the right building, product, configuration, upgrades, options, and packages for their needs.
- Maintain an active and organized sales pipeline.
- Actively generate business through social media, online marketplaces, networking, referrals, community relationships, and other marketing channels.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process.
- Keep customer and sales activity accurately documented in the company's CRM.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and customer-ready sales location.
- Communicate regularly with SunSipper leadership regarding sales activity, opportunities, and market development.
Help Us Identify Bigger Opportunities
In addition to Tiny Living & Storage sales, you may identify customers who need other services through SunSipper's construction divisions, including:
- Renovations and remodeling
- Metal buildings
- Garages and shops
- Custom homes and new construction
- Other construction-related services
Your role is to identify, develop, and procure the customer opportunity. Specialized construction personnel will handle estimating, pricing, project planning, and construction operations.
This creates additional opportunities for a strong salesperson who knows how to recognize customer needs and build relationships.
This Is a Business Development Role
SunSipper is developing multiple sources of leads and referrals through company marketing, community relationships, business relationships, and other network-generated opportunities.
However, this is not a passive sales position.
Successful Lot / Sales Managers will be expected to actively:
- Prospect for new customers
- Market themselves and the location
- Build relationships throughout the community
- Network and develop referral sources
- Follow up consistently
- Use social media and online marketing
- Develop their own customer base
- Turn opportunities into revenue
We provide the brand, products, systems, training, leadership, and developing lead sources. You are responsible for turning those resources into customers and sales while actively building your market presence.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate:
- Enjoys sales and working directly with customers.
- Is comfortable asking for the sale.
- Knows how to generate business instead of waiting for it to come to them.
- Is highly self-motivated and self-directed.
- Has strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Is comfortable using social media and online marketing to generate opportunities.
- Can build relationships within the local community.
- Has an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Is organized and capable of managing multiple customer opportunities.
- Takes ownership of results.
- Is comfortable in a performance-driven environment.
- Can work independently while following company systems and processes.
Previous experience in sales, portable buildings, construction, real estate, manufactured housing, home improvement, or a related industry is helpful, but the most important qualities are the ability to communicate, prospect, build relationships, sell, and produce results.

Successful Lot / Sales Managers will:
- Consistently generate new customer opportunities.
- Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline.
- Convert leads into customers.
- Grow sales at their assigned location.

- Build strong relationships throughout their local market.
- Identify qualified construction opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate CRM activity and follow-up.
- Keep their assigned location professional and customer-ready.
- Take ownership of the growth and performance of their territory.
