Full Job Description

The Audiology Assistant – Audio Tech works under the supervision of a licensed audiologist to help with diagnostic and supportive tasks related to hearing care. Their role bridges clinical and administrative duties, allowing audiologists to focus on more advanced evaluations and treatment.

Roles & Responsibilities
– Execute basic hearing evaluations, including air/bone/speech and impedance under supervision of Audiologist
– Print invoices and stamp with the account stamp
– Compare/verify that all patient and device information is correct
– Verify any amounts and payer information listed are correct
– Input new purchase agreements
– Update devices in patient chart and activity status
– Enter the same information in the shared hearing aid spreadsheet
– Track and reorder Supplies
– Contact equipment companies for resolution of any equipment issues
– Sanitize tools daily
– Ensure booths are stocked with supplies weekly
– Assist the audiology clerk in checking in new hearing aids/repairs
– Other various tasks as assigned by an administrator or supervisor.

Minimum education requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.

For the success of the role, certain skills are vital beyond formal experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A compassionate and patient-focused attitude
Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping
Comfortable working in a fast paced, busy office environment

In-house training mandatory. Fees reimbursed for certifications

This position operates under close supervision of a Licensed Audiologist.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
