Help Bring Hearing Healthcare Beyond Our Walls.
Are you an audiologist who believes exceptional hearing healthcare should reach everyone—not just those who can make it to a clinic? Do you enjoy connecting with people, building relationships, and making a lasting impact in your community?
Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center is seeking a passionate, energetic Outreach Audiologist to lead and expand our growing community outreach program. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical excellence with leadership, education, and community engagement while helping improve access to hearing healthcare throughout Central Florida.
As our Outreach Audiologist, you won't just provide care—you'll help shape how our organization reaches thousands of individuals who might otherwise go without hearing services.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow our community audiology outreach program.
- Develop and cultivate new outreach opportunities with senior communities, employers, physician offices, community organizations, schools, health fairs, and special events.
- Represent Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center as a community ambassador.
- Conduct hearing screenings on patients of all ages throughout Polk County.
- Deliver engaging educational presentations on hearing health, hearing loss prevention, hearing technology, tinnitus, and healthy aging.
- Identify opportunities that increase awareness of our services and generate referrals.
- Build lasting partnerships with community organizations and healthcare providers.
- Work with the Outreach Manager to coordinate outreach schedules and collaborate with internal teams to maximize community impact.
- Assist individuals in accessing comprehensive hearing healthcare and follow-up services when needed.
- Maintain accurate outreach records and measure program success.
Schedule & Flexibility
This position offers flexibility, but no two weeks will look exactly the same.
- Primarily weekday schedule
- Some evenings for community presentations or events
- Occasional weekends for health fairs and outreach activities
- Flex time provided for evening and weekend events
- Schedule may shift throughout the year based on community events and seasonal outreach opportunities
If you enjoy variety and appreciate that your workday extends beyond the traditional clinic setting, you'll thrive in this role.
What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree
- Florida Audiology License (or eligibility)
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Passion for community engagement and relationship building
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout our service area (we have 4 mobile units that would be used for travel)
- Ability to lift and transport outreach equipment for community events

- Work for a respected nonprofit organization with a mission that changes lives every day.
