Certified Medical Assistant / Certified Phlebotomist

Gameday Men's Health Lakeland is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who is also a Certified Phlebotomist, to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care, enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment, and is passionate about helping men improve their health and quality of life.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification (required)
- Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification (required)
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent, hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent venipuncture skills
- Strong computer proficiency and EMR experience
- Professional appearance and communication skills
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Men's Health
- Hormone Replacement Therapy (TRT)
- Internal Medicine
- Family Medicine
- Urgent Care
- Wellness or Preventive Medicine
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection with accuracy and professionalism
- Process laboratory specimens according to protocol
- Obtain vital signs and patient histories
- Prepare patients for provider evaluations
- Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
- Must be comfortable performing GAINSWave® treatments on male patients in a professional, respectful, and discreet clinical setting.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Coordinate laboratory orders and results
- Assist with medication inventory and supply management
- Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service from check-in through follow-up
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans and medications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
