We are looking for a detail-oriented person who is compassionate, up-beat and driven to join our amazing team as a Veterinary Client Service Representative. The person in this role must be able to deliver top notch client service to both patients and their pet parents. The role requires the ability to multi-task, work at a fast pace, have strong communication skills (both in-person and over the phone), and apply critical thinking. We prefer at least 1 year of veterinary clinic experience to ensure basic knowledge of scheduling, triaging, medications, and client education is established.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Client communication and answering questions
- Clear Communication with doctors and support staff
- Use of multi-line phone, email, fax, and computer
- Scheduling appointments using practice management software
- Triaging emergency situations
- Checking in and out clients for appointments
- Taking and filling prescription requests
- Processing payments for services and products
- Cleaning and maintenance of reception area
Requirements:
- 1 year experience in veterinary clinic with client service or receptionist experience required
- Foster collaborative relationships with other team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner
- Must have strong communication skills, be able to work a multi-line phone system, basic computer skills, and have basic math and money handling skills.
- Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 35 pounds.
- Endure sitting, standing, and walking on hard floor surfaces for extended period
Schedule
- Clinic is open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday; and 8am to 1pm Saturdays
- Full-Time employees are scheduled for 4 weekdays per week, and 2 Saturdays per month
- Typical schedule is 7:30am - 6:00pm and Saturdays 7:30-1:00pm
