G4 Wealth Advisors is a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, dedicated to helping families improve their financial lives through comprehensive financial planning and personalized guidance.
We are seeking a Paraplanner to support our advisors through financial plan preparation, client service, meeting preparation, and implementation support.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both financial planning and client interaction and wants to build a long-term career in wealth management.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning Support
· Maintain client financial data within planning software and firm systems.
· Review financial documents and identify planning opportunities.
· Prepare retirement analyses, insurance illustrations, and other planning scenarios.
· Assist advisors in developing planning recommendations.
· Create client meeting agendas, presentations, and supporting materials.
· Track recommendations and implementation activities.
· Attend client meetings and assist with follow-up activities.
· Execute trades with advisor direction and required approvals.
Client Service
· Serve as a point of contact throughout the planning process.
· Assist clients with account questions, money movement requests, and account maintenance.
· Help clients gather and organize information needed for planning.
· Provide timely, professional communication and service.
Team Support
· Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
· Manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Collaborate with advisors and team members to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualifications
Required
· Series 7 License
· Series 66 License (or Series 65 & 63)
· Life, Accident & Health Insurance License
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
Preferred
· 2+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or financial planning
· Experience using MoneyGuidePro, NaviPlan, or similar software
· Experience supporting financial advisors
· CFP coursework or interest in pursuing advanced planning education
