Full Job Description

School-based Para Educator – (Lancaster, CA)- Lead Supervisor Position

Start and End Dates: 08/11/26 - 06/03/27

Schedule: 08/11/26 - 06/03/27, minimum of 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day plus an unpaid 30 minute lunch
Pay: $22.00-$23.00/hour, paid weekly
Location: Lancaster, CA
Job Type: W-2, Full-time

About the Role:

Join the Inclusive Learning Partners team! As a certified Nonpublic Agency (NPA) in California, we are dedicated to providing inclusive, compassionate, and high-quality educational support across the state. We are currently hiring a Paraeducator Lead to work 1:1 or in a classroom setting with students who have severe disabilities. This Lead is responsible for providing standard supervision to a team of up to 30 paraeducators, including helping with candidates' timekeeping, assisting with conflict at school site or with assignment, as well as floating to cover absences of our candidates as needed. This role is essential in supporting classroom teachers and delivering individualized educational services aligned with each student’s learning and behavioral goals.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher in education or related field preferred
At least 2 years of experience as a BT or higher, including ABA experience and working with students with significant behaviors
Experience supervising or managing people
Must be comfortable with Toileting & Diapering in all ages
Must be comfortable assisting with toileting and diapering for students of any age
Valid CA Driver’s License OR Consistent & Reliable transportation to travel between school sites
Must be willing to undergo a criminal background clearance and Livescan fingerprinting through the California Department of Justice and FBI.
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Willingness to complete all necessary ILP and state mandated trainings during onboarding

Key Responsibilities:

Lead is responsible for providing standard supervision of up to 30 paraeducators, including helping with candidates' timekeeping, assisting with conflict at school site or with assignment, as well as floating to cover absences of our candidates as needed
Will act as liaison between ILP and the district
Will will be expected to collaborate with ILP team on performance of all district candidates
Will inform district of daily call outs/absences of our candidate and coordinate coverage or subs for ILP daily call outs/absences, utilizing our sub pool
Will sub 3 days a week, will be responsible for other responsibilities 2 days a week
