JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Subjects to be taught: Math, ELA, and Science
Grades: 6-8th
Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
In-person availability is required
Scheduled hours: Mondays and Thursdays: 8:15 AM - 3:00 PM, Wednesdays and Fridays: 8:40 AM - 3:00 PM PST
Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Excellent rate of pay: $40 an hour
Paid Onboarding/ Training / Preparation / Support: $22.00 an hour
