Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Part-Time Community Outreach & Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind building meaningful relationships within the community, expanding our outreach initiatives, and fostering strategic partnerships. Your passion for community engagement, combined with strong communication and organizational skills, will help elevate our presence and impact. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while developing your skills in public relations, marketing, and business development.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement community outreach strategies to promote organizational initiatives and foster community engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and stakeholders through regular communication and networking.
Plan, coordinate, and deliver public presentations and speaking engagements to raise awareness about our programs and services.
Manage social media platforms by creating engaging content, monitoring interactions, and executing social media marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing efforts, including event planning, promotional materials, and data collection for outreach activities.
Assist in identifying new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and relationship management to support organizational growth.
Coordinate volunteer management efforts by recruiting, training, and supporting community volunteers for various projects.
Prepare reports on outreach activities, community feedback, and project progress to inform strategic planning.

Skills

Proven experience in community outreach, public relations, or related fields with a focus on community engagement.
Strong media relations skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with local media outlets.
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing and data management.
Experience in project management, event coordination, and strategic planning.
Skilled in social media management and marketing strategies across multiple platforms.
Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to connect effectively with diverse populations.
Bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging broader community segments.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Customer service experience with a focus on client communication and relationship management.
Familiarity with fundraising strategies, data collection methods, and budgeting processes is advantageous.
