Full Job Description

Second: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday-Friday, and overtime as needed.

Please note: Training will start on first shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), and once completed, the role will transition to second shift.

Intellicor is seeking a skilled Bindery Operator to join our second shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional printing solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain bindery equipment such as cutters, trimmers, folders, and stitchers.
Ensure quality control throughout the bindery process by checking for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in the setup of jobs by preparing materials and adjusting machinery settings as needed.
Monitor inventory levels of supplies used in the bindery process.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bindery Operator or similar role in a printing environment.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
Familiarity with bindery equipment and processes is essential.
Basic knowledge of graphic design principles is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Good communication skills and time management abilities.
Set up and operate binding equipment including the following: Cutter (paper, cloth), Folder (Heidelberg, Stahl, Longford), Saddle Stitcher (McCain, Heidelberg, Sheridan), Perfect Binder (16, 18), Bourg Digital Binder, Horizon Stitcher, Stamper, Mail Line, Case Maker o Case Binder, Tipper, Insignia Die Cutter, Card Folder and Bindery Trimmer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.69 - $26.44 per hour
