We are currently comprised of 15 retail stores, 4 commercial door facilities, and a truss manufacturing plant, all located in Pennsylvania.

Summary: The Kitchen & Bath Design Assistant provides design, administrative, and project coordination support to the Kitchen & Bath Sales Team. This role is responsible for creating preliminary cabinet designs, preparing bids, placing and tracking orders, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring projects move efficiently from design through installation.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, computer proficient, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and customer service are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support Kitchen & Bath Sales Consultants throughout the sales and project process.
- Create cabinet layouts and drawings using the 2020 Design software at the direction of the salesperson, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed cabinet layouts.
- Prepare accurate bids, quotations, and product schedules.
- Place orders for cabinetry, countertops, hardware, and related products with vendors.
- Review order acknowledgements and confirmations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Enter and maintain all customer orders within the company ordering system.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with the dispatch department and vendors using Outlook and other scheduling tools.
- Communicate with customers regarding project status, lead times, delivery schedules, template appointments, and installation dates.
- Assist with showroom coverage when designers are assisting customers, traveling, or out of the office.
- Help maintain a professional showroom by organizing displays, product samples, literature, and promotional materials.
- Work closely with sales staff, vendors, dispatch, and management to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Immediately report accidents, injuries, or property damage to management.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

- Experience with 2020 Design software preferred; applicants with CAD, drafting, or other computer-aided design experience are encouraged to apply.
- Kitchen, bath, cabinetry, interior design, or construction industry experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and floor plans.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent computer and data entry skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow within the Kitchen & Bath department.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
