Full Job Description

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Account Manager is responsible for the sales, service, and business development of all customers in the Marcellus Shale territory, based in Central and Northern Pennsylvania. The Account Manager provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and revenue growth in line with the company vision and values. The Account Manager implements, plans, and strategizes to expand the customer base in the region or market and contributes to the training and education of customers in the area of plunger lift solutions. This role is expected to be self-motivated and work independently while managing direction provided from the Regional Sales Manager, Sales Director, President, CTO, & CEO as applicable.

REPORTING TO: Regional Sales Manager with direct instruction from the Sales Director.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivers revenue in excess of annual revenue targets.
Effectively maintains and retains existing customers by building long-term relationships.
Builds customer base by meeting with potential clients and educating them on the benefits of Well Master products and services.
Responds to all inquiries and sales requests within specified timeframe.
Writes and submits sales tickets accurately and on time following Well Master procedures.
Offers after-sales support services.
Tracks personal sales statistics and reviews them with the Regional Sales Manager.
Travels to visit current and potential customers daily.
Manages, develops and interprets customer requirements.
Consults with customers as to which products or services will best satisfy their needs.
Completes proactive customer “good will” calls.
Implements strategic action plans and coordinates sales projects.
Develops quotations and negotiates RFP/RFQ’s and contract terms.
Negotiates and closes sales by agreeing to terms and conditions (as approved).
Supports marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
Makes technical presentations and demonstrates how products will meet customer needs.
Provides pre-sales technical assistance and project education.
Builds relationships with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
Helps in the design of custom products and solutions and solves customer problems.
Provides training and produces support material as required.
Participates in continued education to learn about new products and improve sales techniques.
Utilizes Customer Relationship Management tools to track project & customer progress.
Records and maintains customer contact data.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

College degree preferred
Oil & Gas sales experience. Artificial lift experience preferred
Oil & Gas well pumping operations experience a plus
Maintenance of a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record required

Essential Functions:

Physical Demands:

Requires use of hands and arms at least 60% of the time.
Time is divided between sitting, standing and walking.
Lifting requirements are generally less than 15 lbs. Manual lifting could reach the company maximum of 65 lbs.
Must be able to tolerate environmental conditions (cold and heat extremes) on a well location for short periods of time.

Work Environment:

Majority of time is spent in a vehicle driving and visiting customers.
Noise exposure is moderate.
Must be able to pass customer required safety training to gain access to well site locations.

Mental/Visual Demands:

Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are necessary to perform the job functions.
Peripheral vision is required for safety.
