Full Job Description

<p>Job Summary:

The CNC Machinist proficiently operates HAAS Milling Machines and HAAS Lathes, with a strong understanding of machine setup, settings, and operation. This individual is responsible for performing complete part setups prior to machining and executing precision machining tasks in a hands-on production environment. The role plays a critical part in manufacturing and repairing components that meet stringent quality standards, including those required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Core Responsibilities:

Review drawings, sketches, blueprints, and schematics prior to production.

Perform full machine setups for each job, including tooling selection, offsets, and fixture alignment.

Operate HAAS Milling Machines and HAAS Lathes using proper machining techniques.

Adjust machine controls to regulate feeds, speeds, and cutting conditions as needed.

Accurately scan production jobs in and out of the system to maintain production tracking.

Execute precision machining operations to produce parts within tight tolerances.

Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and prevent damage to parts or equipment.

Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.

Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Meet production schedules and maintain accurate production records.

Perform other duties as assigned, including overtime as needed.
