Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Residential SUD/Med Technician to join our team at Valley Recovery Center! **Must be able to work Swing Shifts and weekend AM Shifts**

Duties of the technician include supervision of clients, transporting clients to outings, maintaining shift logs, client intakes, and medication administration. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of EHR, at least 1 year experience in behavioral health, and a high level of professionalism. If you have previous experience in behavioral health, we’d like to meet you!

Responsibilities:

Facilitates client’s daily activities including wake up, supervision, assistance with meal service, laundry, etc.

Transports clients to and from necessary appointments and activities.

Medication administration

· Observes and monitors client behavior and intervenes as needed, based on individual client treatment plan, program schedule and house needs.

· Facilitates assigned groups/meetings/activities per program schedule.

· Coordinates treatment milieu with other counseling staff (via client record, staff communication, and treatment meetings).

Requirements:

· California Driver’s license with insurable DMV driving record.

· Two (2) years of sobriety, if recovering.

· Registered or certified as an alcohol drug counselor/technician.

· Experience working in detox/residential treatment settings.

· Experience working in the field of addiction.

· Knowledge of EHR preferred.

· Attention to detail and ability to be thorough and accurate.

· Communication- Responds to emails and voicemails in timely manner.

· Relationship skills- builds good rapport with everyone at all levels of the organization. Having collaborative relationships to achieve company’s long-term goals. Displays empathy and tolerates different viewpoints.

· Teamwork- Displays respect and openness to other’s views. Works to build and maintain a positive team environment.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
