Do you Want to make a difference in the community?

This opportunity is for someone to work part time at our Transitional House and also have your own furnished private room in exchange for free room and board.
We are looking to hire an amazing on-site House Monitor.

Our company specializes in assisting women with transitional housing that delivers temporary shared room beds, with enhanced services to help people achieve permanent housing and overcome barriers.

House Monitor at our transitional housing program, your responsibilities may include a wide range of duties aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of the facility and providing support to residents in their transition to more permanent housing. Here is a list of common job duties.

1. **Resident Support**: - Provide emotional support and guidance to residents as they work towards their goals. - Conduct intake interviews and assessments to determine residents' needs and goals. - Develop individualized service plans for each resident. - Monitor residents' progress and provide feedback and encouragement.

2. **Property Management**: - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housing program, including maintenance reports, cleanliness, and safety. - Manage inventory and supplies for the facility.

3. **Crisis Intervention**: - Handle crisis situations that may arise among residents, such as conflicts or emergencies. - Implement appropriate crisis intervention strategies and protocols.

4. **Community Engagement**: - Develop partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and service providers to support residents. - Organize community events, workshops, or activities for residents. - Advocate for residents' needs and rights within the community.

5. **Administration**: - Maintain accurate records of resident information, progress, and services provided. - Manage budgets and expenses for the facility.

6. **Staff Supervision**: - Supervise and support other staff members, such as case managers or supportive community workers. - Provide training and guidance to staff on program policies and procedures.

7. **Program Development**: - Participate in the development and evaluation of programs and services offered at the transitional housing program. - Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance the program's effectiveness.

**Qualifications:**- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.- for transitional housing programs.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Knowledge of organization skills, marketing on social media, creating flyers and fundraising experience is a plus. Part-Time Position Schedule;

Work Shift-3 Days a Week 3 Hours per day.

Must Have's:

Positive, effective, and professional (oral and written) communications and interactions with a wide range of individuals.
Proven ability to interact, problem-solve and mediate in a positive and constructive manner, including during emergency and stressful situations.
Ability to successfully prioritize and execute multiple tasks and/or projects
Flexibility, such as regarding work setting, schedule, responsibilities, clients, and colleagues, and assistance with emergency situations as needed.
Ability to meet Form I-9 requirements, with appropriate supporting documentation of the right to lawfully work in the U.S.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
