At Edwards Federal Credit Union, exceptional member service starts with exceptional leadership. We're looking for a Branch Operations Supervisor who is passionate about developing people, creating outstanding member experiences, and ensuring a branch operates at its best.

As a Branch Operations Supervisor, you'll provide day-to-day leadership to a branch team while balancing operational excellence, employee development, compliance, and business growth. You'll be a visible presence on the branch floor, supporting employees through challenging situations, coaching them toward success, and helping create an environment where both employees and members feel valued.

What You'll DoLead Branch Operations

Oversee daily branch operations and workflow to ensure efficient, accurate, and member-focused service.
Manage staffing, schedules, workload distribution, and service priorities.
Maintain a visible leadership presence on the branch floor and provide support during peak service periods.
Ensure branch opening, closing, security, cash handling, balancing, and operational procedures are followed.
Approve transactions, overrides, and exceptions within established authority levels.
Support account opening, lending, deposit, and member service activities based on branch structure and team responsibilities.
Serve as a resource for employees and assist with escalated or complex member concerns.

Develop Your Team

Directly supervise and support assigned branch employees, including Member Specialists, Member Consultants, or both.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to help employees reach their potential.
Identify training needs and support employee development and career growth.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and performance management.
Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Lead by example and consistently demonstrate Edwards Federal Credit Union's core values.

Deliver an Exceptional Member Experience

Promote a consultative service culture focused on understanding and meeting members' financial needs.
Coach employees on identifying opportunities for lending, deposits, business services, and other products that benefit members.
Monitor service, referral, lending, account opening, and other performance metrics.
Support outbound calling, follow-up, and relationship-building efforts.
Help employees resolve complex member situations while balancing member needs, risk, and operational requirements.
Support branch initiatives designed to strengthen member relationships and achieve performance goals.

Ensure Operational Excellence & Compliance

Ensure branch activities comply with applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Maintain adherence to BSA/AML, OFAC, Reg CC, consumer lending, security, and audit requirements.
Monitor branch activities for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Ensure suspicious activity is properly identified, documented, and reported.
Partner with operational leadership to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Help maintain branch readiness for audits, examinations, and internal reviews.
Ensure employees remain current on required regulatory and compliance training.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced financial services professional who combines strong operational knowledge with a genuine passion for developing people.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least three years of experience in branch banking, credit union operations, retail financial services, or a related financial institution environment.
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Teller operations and cash management
New accounts and deposit services
Consumer lending
Branch sales and member service
Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
Strong understanding of branch operations, member service, and financial products.
Knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, Reg CC, consumer lending requirements, and branch security procedures.
Ability to analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with core processing systems, lending platforms, Microsoft Office, and branch technologies.
Commitment to confidentiality and protecting member information.
Professional, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with others.
