1. AM Shift: Mondays - Thursdays: 6:00am - 4:45 pm (4x10hours)
2. PM Shift: Mondays - Thursdays: 4:45 pm - 3:30am (4x10hours)
3. Weekend Shift: Fridays - Sundays : 6:00am - 6:30pm (3x12hours)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packaging Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. This position requires a strong understanding of packaging processes, FDA regulations, and CGMP practices, as well as hands-on experience with various tools and machinery.
Duties
- Operate and maintain packaging machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Assemble packaging components according to specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline packaging operations and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of packaged products to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for monitoring and controlling packaging processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Familiarity with packaging processes and equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and CGMP practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Physical requirements:
● Requires fast paced and repetitive work, the use of hands to fold boxes,
apply labels etc. Frequent bending of the elbow to operate arbor presses,
lifting and moving boxes of bulk packaging supplies (≤50 lbs), etc.
● Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of hands.
● Frequently crouching, stooping, bending, and reaching.
● Stand for short/ high periods of time.
● Sit for short/ medium periods of time.
● Walk for short/high periods of time.
● Occasionally sit on the floor or at floor level.
● Handle the responsibilities and routine stress often associated with this position.
Pay: From $16.90 per hour
