East Pizzeria is a growing kosher artisan pizzeria looking for an experienced kitchen leader to oversee daily operations, food quality, staff management, and kitchen systems.
This is a hands-on leadership role. We are looking for someone who enjoys both cooking and managing people, and who can help build a highly organized and consistent kitchen.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations
- Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
- Maintain recipe standards and portion control
- Manage prep production and inventory levels
- Place food orders and communicate with vendors
- Monitor food costs and reduce waste
- Create efficient kitchen systems and workflows
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and health department standards
- Assist with catering and special events
- Work closely with ownership to improve menu items and operations
Qualifications
- Kitchen management or chef experience
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Experience managing inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Experience with pizza, baking, dough fermentation, or artisan food production is a major plus
