Full Job Description

Position Summary: Provides production and administrative support within the Vantus Wealth Team to serve our clients in the highest quality manner and to allow the Advisors to focus on their clients. Builds and maintains positive relationships with team members, advisors, support staff, professionals, and new and existing financial clients.

For Investment Production Activities, the RM will

Prepare investment and annuity applications, handle account establishment, rollovers, funding and changes, and track and document progress to completion in a timely manner
Handle trade and money movement requests
Handle Required Minimum Distribution and Qualified Charitable Distribution transactions
Accept/deposit client checks and complete check transmittals so they can be given to the appropriate department for entry to the check log
Provide support for client banking information and recurring or one time investment or withdrawal procedures
Provide support for beneficiary additions or updates

For Insurance Production Activities, the RM will

Prepare insurance product applications for life, disability and long-term care insurance types, handle policy establishment, premium updates, and track and document progress to completion in a timely manner
Handle policies for beneficiaries, powers of attorney, premium payment settings, ownership changes, address changes, loan processing and payments, etc.
Properly link incoming insurance business with the correct client in the CRM

As part of the position, the RM will:

Utilize CRM software to sort, organize and prioritize assigned tasks with tags and filters
Update the tasks in CRM and in other required locations thoroughly and expediently as updates are available
Interact with clients, professionals and support personnel through telephone, email, in-person and video conferencing, to answer questions and obtain information
Be attentive to and meet compliance requirements for work completed and maintenance of client files
Work closely with our custodian, vendors, and product companies
Work closely with business professionals such as accountants, attorneys, medical lab vendors, health care providers and trust administrators

Meet with the RM Team and Advisors regularly to keep current with workflow, expectations and P&P updates
Participate in a prepared and engaged manner in all attended meetings
Be proficient in printing, copying, scanning and faxing
Track and maintain assigned projects and tasks, work diligently on required project items and report progress on a regular basis
Take the initiative to learn continuously
Be willing and available to teach and share
Be a creative solution seeker and enthusiastic implementor of new processes

Minimum Job Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent computer skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows environment
Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Adobe Document Pro
Professional typing skills
The ability to utilize a desk phone, cell phone app and online phone system
Excellent attention to detail
A professional and well-groomed appearance
A hospitable and welcoming demeanor and approach with fellow team members, professionals and clients
Excellent organization across physical and electronic mediums
The ability to take direction and feedback well, and utilize it effectively
The ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

Mobility for required frequent bending, lifting, and stretching
The ability to lift 10 to 25 pounds
The ability to wear ear phones or ear buds and a microphone for extended periods of time
