Position: Logistics Accounting Analyst
Location: Irving, TX 75061
Pay Range: Around $47,500 year (depending on experience)
Schedule: Typically full-time, Monday–Friday
FLSA Status: Exempt
Job Purpose: To oversee the logistics accounting, billing, and reporting processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough billing verification
- Finalize month-end reports and accruals
- Ensure three-way matching of carrier invoices is accurate
- Provide direction and oversight to Billing Specialists
- Prepare invoices for approval and payment processing
- Perform payment reconciliations
- Track and reconcile Carrier Aging Statements
- Address and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Manage billing issues with carriers effectively
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in computer applications is essential, with a strong command of Excel and the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
- The candidate must possess the ability to engage effectively with all tiers of management and demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational abilities are essential
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills are required
- A solid commitment to teamwork is important
- Must be capable of meeting stringent deadlines
Education and/or Experience:
- A minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience is necessary
- Truck Mate Software experience is preferred but not required
