EverPresent is currently seeking a hybrid Delivery Driver & Media Archiving Technician to transport client orders between our office in Rockville, MD to our partner locations and client's homes throughout the greater DMV area (DC, Maryland, Delaware, Southern NJ, Eastern PA, Northern/Coastal VA) using our company cars (MB Sprinter Van and Toyota Sienna Minivan). You will also help out with packaging, digitizing & quality control tasks in the office, and provide a friendly face for clients who come directly to the lab to drop off or pick up their project.
This could be a great position for someone who loves cars and driving, but also likes being in an office environment, working cooperatively on a small team, providing a basic level of customer service for our great clients, and generally being part of a team doing something important.

Job Duties:
- Follow regular delivery routes originating from our Rockville, MD office while safely and efficiently picking up and delivering client orders
- Communicate with headquarters regarding deliveries and with clients regarding expected arrival time and/or any delays encountered
- Make sure order drop-off and pick-ups match route lists
- Read maps or set GPS to determine and track delivery route
- Inspect delivery vehicle daily looking for anything problematic (low tire pressure, tire wear, dents etc.) and report any abnormalities
- Refuel vehicle as needed (gas card provided)
- Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while en route to supervisor
- Follow rules and regulations of the road at all times.
- Perform shipping and receiving responsibilities for in-bound and outbound packages
- Learn the digitizing process used by our Product Delivery team and act as support in office where required. This involves learning and utilizing multiple computer programs.
- Occasionally complete in-office administrative tasks or other duties, as assigned
- Daily schedules will vary with some shifts lasting more than 8 hours, starting early in the morning, and possibly ending late in the evening.
- Interact with clients for pickups and dropoffs both at their homes and in the office, with the ability to answer basic questions about the job process.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid US state issued driver’s license, a clean driving record with no moving violations over the past 6+ years, and be able to be insured on our company insurance policy
- Have a professional demeanor
- Are punctual and have access to reliable personal or public transportation
- Exhibit high attention to detail
- Basic Windows computing skills with the ability to learn and competently utilize necessary programs, systems, and processes.
- Have excellent personal skills when interacting with clients, coworkers and general public
- Are fluent in written and spoken English
- Own a reliable, personal smartphone
- Be able to read map and utilize GPS
- Are authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Are motivated, quick learners with a strong work ethic
- 2+ years of delivery driving experience is a plus
- Previous customer service experience is a plus

- Training will take place on the road and on site in both the MD and MA offices
Essential Physical Job Requirements:
- Ability to safely operate and drive a motor vehicle for extended periods of time in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to stand, walk; use fingers, hands and arms to feel, reach, handle, push, pull, and carry; bend, lift and move 30-40 lbs
- Tolerance for outdoor elements such as heat, cold, wind and water
- Tolerance for dust, mold and mildew that the employee may encounter when working with and transporting old and/or damaged film, photographs or related media
Details:
Location: This position is in Rockville, MD; approximately 1.3 miles from the North Bethesda Red Line Metro Station. Parking is available on site.
Hours: We are seeking a full-time driver/associate (40+ hours/week). The position involves long day routes such that most of our drivers end up having a weekday off and still making their full 40 hours. Days may start as early as 5:30am and may end as late as 10:00pm, traffic and route depending.
Wage: $18/hour for Technician duties, $23/hour for driving shifts
