Full Job Description

The Bookkeeping Assistant will be responsible for supporting or Bookkeeper in order to manage all aspects related to the finances our multi-location medical/dental practice. They will work directly with the our Bookeeper, providers & CEO to ensure the profitability of the company.

The Bookkeeper Assistant job duties include but are not limited to:

Data Entry & Transactions: Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, enter bills, and follow up on overdue customer payments.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
Reporting Support: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Administrative Duties: Maintain organized digital/physical filing systems, assist with payroll, and handle vendor inquiries

Key Qualifications & Skills

Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software and MS Excel.
Experience: Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting, often 2+ years preferred.
Skills: High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and confidentiality.
Education: Knowledge of accounting principles, sometimes a bachelor's degree in accounting/business or relevant vocational training.

Comptroller/Bookkeeper responsibilities and job description are subject to change and revisions based on the needs of the company.
