Full Job Description

Branch Manager – Operations

Location: King of Prussia, PA

Employment Type: Full-Time

A well-established organization is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead and grow its operations in the King of Prussia, PA area.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for overseeing branch operations, strengthening client relationships, managing personnel, controlling labor costs, and ensuring consistent service delivery. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands contract security operations and can balance employee engagement, client satisfaction, compliance, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide overall leadership and direction for branch operations

- Manage and develop operations managers, supervisors, administrative staff, and personnel

- Maintain strong relationships with clients and address service concerns promptly

- Ensure all client locations are properly staffed, trained, and supported

- Monitor scheduling, overtime, open posts, turnover, and other operational performance indicators

- Partner with recruiting to develop staffing plans and maintain qualified candidate pipelines

- Oversee employee onboarding, training, coaching, corrective action, and performance management

- Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and client meetings

- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, licensing standards, and applicable employment regulations

- Review payroll, billing, labor utilization, and branch expenses for accuracy and efficiency

- Support new account transitions, expansions, and business development opportunities

- Prepare operational reports and communicate branch performance to senior leadership

- Participate in emergency response and after-hours operational support when necessary

Qualifications

- Previous management experience within contract security, facilities management, hospitality, staffing, logistics, or another service-based industry

- multi-site workforce management experience strongly preferred

- Demonstrated experience leading employees in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

- Strong understanding of scheduling, staffing, overtime control, employee relations, and client service

- Proven ability to recruit, coach, develop, and retain employees

- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing operational needs

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workforce management or scheduling systems

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Ability to travel throughout the assigned market and provide occasional after-hours support

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing a branch or large accounts

- Experience managing branch financial performance, budgets, payroll, or client billing

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
