Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and structures. This is a physically demanding role that requires expertise in carpentry and construction.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and dimensions of the structure
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, and other materials according to specifications
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, or adhesives
- Install windows, doors, and other fixtures
- Ensure the structure is level and plumb
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license, reliable means to get to and from job site
- Proven experience as a Framer or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team
Skills:
