<Overview>
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist, where you'll be the friendly face and organized voice that keeps our medical practice running smoothly. In this vital role, you'll manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, and handle administrative tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure a positive experience for every patient while supporting the clinical team behind the scenes. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to quality patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

<Responsibilities>

Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems .
Schedule appointments efficiently, manage cancellations, and coordinate follow-up visits to optimize clinic flow
Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification accurately
Collect and process payments
Maintain meticulous medical records by reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, providing excellent patient service and routing calls appropriately
Assist with administrative support tasks such as f, data entry, managing patient intake forms, and handling correspondence

<Qualifications>

Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with strong clerical skills
Familiarity with EMR/EHR
Excellent computer skills and health information management software
Strong customer service orientation with exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA standards
Prior clinic office experience is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology
Capable of multitasking efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
