OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

Operations Technicians work together with their TEAM to aid with all aspects of operations, under the direct oversight of their Operations Manager. This TEAM supports overall facility operations based on various work instructions, processes, and techniques performed as a part of daily routine operations.

As an Operations Technician TEAM Member, you will:

Execute daily manufacturing activities according to production schedules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and supervisor direction.
Support production flow by ensuring materials, equipment, and personnel are properly positioned to meet operational demands.
Assist with workforce deployment and task coordination to support daily production priorities.
Monitor production progress and communicate delays, material shortages, equipment issues, or operational concerns to leadership.
Stage, transport, and organize raw materials, packaging supplies, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility.
Receive incoming materials, supplies, and vendor shipments; verify quantities, inspect for accuracy, and report discrepancies.
Accurately document and process receiving transactions in company inventory systems.
Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and verifying orders for transport.
Coordinate with carriers and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products and materials.
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory organization activities.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control initiatives.
Perform quality checks to ensure products, materials, and shipments meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, maintenance support, and operational readiness activities.
Complete production, receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation accurately and timely.
Maintain clean, organized, and inspection-ready workspaces in accordance with safety and compliance standards.
Follow all company safety policies, GMP requirements, cannabis regulations, and operational procedures.
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and organization.
Cross-train and provide operational support across manufacturing, packaging, receiving, inventory, and shipping functions as needed.
Demonstrate strong time management, accountability, and attention to detail while meeting daily operational expectations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by a TEAM Member to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.

The TEAM Member must have the ability to lift 50-65 pounds and maneuver between grow room tables.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This position is full-time hourly. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. Hours are subject to change, depending on the schedule. Overtime is often required during the week or weekends.

AGE REQUIREMENT / STATE REQUIMENT

· Must be 21 years of age (State Requirement)

· State Background Check is required. Reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

COMPENSATION

Starting: $19.00 per hour

After 30 Days: $20.00 per hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Basic math skills.

· High school Diploma
