Wireless Network Technician (RF) – Paid Training

Help Keep Michigan Connected
ACD.net is seeking a motivated Wireless Network Technician (RF) to join our Network Operations team. If you enjoy technology, troubleshooting, and working with cutting-edge communications equipment, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career in the telecommunications industry.
No RF experience? No problem. We provide paid, hands-on training for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

Install, configure, and maintain wireless broadband equipment.
Install and align antennas, radios, and microwave systems.
Troubleshoot RF, network, and customer connectivity issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on wireless communication sites.
Install customer premise equipment (CPE).
Configure routers, switches, and networking devices.
Read network diagrams and technical documentation.
Work closely with Network Operations to optimize system performance.
Respond to service calls and assist with network restoration when needed.

We're Looking For
Ideal candidates have experience in:

Wireless Internet (WISP)
Telecommunications
Networking / IT
Low Voltage
Electrical
Electronics
Field Service
Cable Installation
Fiber Optics
Military Communications
Tower Work

No experience? We encourage mechanically inclined individuals with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn to apply.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve problems.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Comfortable working at heights when required.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
