Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac and vital sign monitoring, ensuring accurate assessment, timely intervention, and comprehensive documentation. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience, including critical care and telemetry, with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care. This position offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment that values professionalism, compassion, and excellence in patient outcomes.

Duties

Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs continuously using advanced telemetry systems, promptly identifying abnormal patterns or changes.
Administer medications and treatments such as Botulinum toxin therapy, IV infusions, and other interventions with precision and adherence to protocols.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and physiological evaluations to inform care plans.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans based on real-time data.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
Perform procedures including venipuncture, suturing, catheterization (urinary or vascular), tube feeding management, and aseptic techniques.
Provide patient education on condition management, medication administration, and post-discharge instructions.
Assist in triage processes for incoming patients, prioritizing care based on acuity levels within emergency or urgent care settings.
Support complex cases involving trauma medicine, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, or behavioral health as needed.
Ensure infection control practices are maintained at all times to prevent hospital-acquired infections.

MUST HAVE:

2 years RN Tele experience - [REQUIRED]
NIH stroke trained - [REQUIRED]
NIHSS and ACLS - [PREFERRED]
BLS

Shift Timings: Nights: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (12 hrs)

Weekly schedule: Nights: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (12 hrs)

HC1

Pay: $58.00 - $59.00 per hour

Experience:

Telemetry: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

BLS Certification (Required)
