Full Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for healthcare and a desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives.

Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Collect and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist with patient positioning
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing necessary information
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable
- Previous experience working in a hospital or medical office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environment
