JOB TITLE:
Business Office Aide – Business Enterprises
JOB PURPOSE:
Support daily cash handling and record-keeping operations for the campus retail units of the UW Business Enterprises subdivision
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver and collect cash from campus retail units daily.
Prepare cash bags for all retail units.
Count and reconcile cash collected from retail locations.
Maintain accurate records of transactions.
Update and manage daily sales reports.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Cash Room.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Sort and distribute mail.
Run errands as needed.
File and organize documents.
Stock essential supplies.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Provide exceptional customer service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Schedule
: Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Experience
: An interest in accounting or bookkeeping. Experience with cash handling and Excel is preferred.
Other Requirements
:
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the
Driving for University Business SAP
.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous cash handling experience.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
Experience working in an office environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Good organizational and time management skills.
