Base salary starts at $33.22/hr.
E S S E N T I A L F U N C T I O N S
- Coordinate, Home Dialysis and Training, and nursing management of home dialysis patients.
- Maintains knowledge of AAMI, CDC, KDOQUI and Network 15 requirements for dialysis units related to home dialysis, infection control and patient care best practices and standards.
- Completes the department equipment check off list and demonstrates competency on all department equipment. Equipment competency is maintained on an ongoing, annual basis.
- Assumes the role of Primary Nurse and its responsibilities and duties to assigned patients.
- Identify, plan, and implement plan to meet primary patient's dialysis needs.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to manipulate medical records, equipment, and perform other essential job functions.
- Takes call according to the schedule set by the direct supervisor.
- Fill in outpatient unit when home patient load is not demanding.
- Must enter patients’ home for initial assessment.
E D U C A T I O N
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
E X P E R I E N C E
- Previous experience in a home dialysis preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience as a RN preferred.
C R E D E N T I A L S
- Must have a current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- Must have current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment with IMH.
- Must have current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or become certified within eight (8) months of hire.

- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with other staff, managers, and the general public.
- Able to assess conditions, comprehend complex situations, and problem-solve effectively.
- Confident in physician relationships; interacts and works closely with a variety of physicians in order to coordinate patient goals.
- Computer and charting skills.
- Able to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Possess strong time management skills.
- Ability to recognize and protect confidential information.
- Maintains quality control standards.
- Demonstrate ethical and legal accountability for the position.
- Regularly exposed to the risk of bloodborne, respiratory and airborne diseases.
- Exposure to industrial and pharmacological hazards as defined in various Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances; including unpredictable situations.
