Executive Chef – Nikkei Cuisine

LUMA Lounge is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen and bring our Nikkei concept to life. We are looking for a passionate culinary professional with strong experience in both Peruvian and Japanese cuisine, including sushi preparation.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef.
Strong knowledge of Peruvian cuisine and Nikkei cooking techniques.
Experience preparing sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls.
Ability to create and execute high-quality menus.
Experience managing kitchen staff, food costs, inventory, and scheduling.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead all kitchen operations.
Develop and maintain menu quality and consistency.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

Requirements

Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
