Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication safety. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and providing exceptional service to patients.

Duties

Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacist
Assist with medication inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and documenting medication supplies in accordance with pharmaceutical regulatory compliance
Perform medication intake assessments, verify prescriptions, and ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws
Support patient care activities by providing medication information, answering patient inquiries, and ensuring timely medication administration
Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with drug regulation standards and healthcare regulations governing hospital pharmacy practice
Document all medication transactions meticulously, including drug preparation, dispensing records, and incident reports

Requirements

Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program; current state registration or licensure required
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage intake processes and medication documentation effectively
Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining accuracy and patient safety standards

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
