Accounting Assistant (Accounts Receivable, Billing & Collections)

RLS International Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role provides essential support to our accounting department, with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, and daily financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process customer billing
Manage collections and maintain accurate A/R records
Support general accounting functions as needed
Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams
Maintain organized financial documentation and reports
Perform other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

High School preferred; relevant work experience considered.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Bilingual English/Spanish (required)
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office(required)
Experience in billing, collections, and accounting support
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
Basic Understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivables, billing and collections procedures.

Physical Wand Work Requirements

This position may require:

· Extended periods of sitting and computer use.

· Frequent use of office equipment including computers, scanners and phone.

· Occasional lifting of office materials or files

Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
