Duties

Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and networking events, to identify insurance needs and generate new business opportunities
Conduct thorough needs analysis by listening actively and asking insightful questions to recommend appropriate insurance products
Negotiate terms and coverage options with clients, ensuring mutual understanding and satisfaction
Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new customers and retain existing ones through targeted campaigns
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, explaining policy details clearly, and guiding clients through the purchasing process
Utilize analysis skills to evaluate market trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback for continuous improvement of sales strategies

Skills

Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly valued
Effective sales administration skills including CRM management, documentation, and benefits administration processes
Analytical mindset capable of assessing market data and customer needs to tailor solutions effectively
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle complex inquiries professionally
Knowledge of marketing principles to promote products proactively and expand outreach efforts
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations related to client confidentiality in insurance transactions
Telemarketing experience is a plus for reaching potential clients efficiently
